The 14-year-old was crushed by a falling bough in the forest in the town of Silesia. The boy stayed there with his brother and father, who worked on cutting down trees. The teenager was transported to the hospital.

The incident occurred on Saturday (April 5) before 10 o'clock in the forest area in the area of ​​the railway track in Miasteczko Śląskie.

The uniforms initially determined that a 14-year-old resident of Nowy Chechło, who stayed in the forest with his older brother and 47-year-old father, who performed work related to the felling of trees, was crushed by one of the falling branches and suffered serious injuries.

By helicopter to the hospital

“Medical rescuers carried out effective resuscitation, after which the patient in serious condition was transported by helicopter of the Air Ambulance Service to the hospital,” the police said. Father and brother of the wounded 14-year-old brother were sober.

“Currently, activities with the participation of the prosecutor are underway at the scene, which will be aimed at determining the exact course and circumstances of this event,” the police informed.
