Rafał Trzaskowski is a candidate for president. What does Monika Olejnik say about this?

Monika Olejnik has been running the program “Dot the i“, where she questions politicians. Many do not even want to appear in the program. The journalist decided to react to the results of the internal elections in the Civic Coalition. Rafał Trzaskowski obtained 74.75 percent of the votes of Civic Coalition activists, as he informed Donald Tusk. “Rafał Trzaskowski is the candidate of the Civic Coalition for the President of the Republic of Poland. Months of emotions lie ahead. We are waiting for the PiS candidate,” the presenter wrote on social media. She also added a photo of herself sitting in front of the TV when the results of the KO primaries are announced. You can find this shot in our gallery at the top of the page.

What education does the KO candidate for president have?

Rafał Trzaskowski will try his hand at the elections for the president of Poland for the second time. First time he lost to Andrzej Duda in 2020 in the second round. Then the mayor of Warsaw obtained 48.97 percent of the votes. This time, there will certainly be no duel with the incumbent president, because Duda can no longer run for re-election – he can only be re-elected to this office once. Trzaskowski is not a lawyer like Duda. So what is his education? The politician studied at the University of Warsaw. He graduated there in two fields: international relations at the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science and English philology at the Faculty of Modern Languages. The President of Warsaw also graduated in European studies from the College of Europe in Natolin. In 2004, he obtained a PhD in humanities in the field of political science at the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science of the University of Warsaw.
