Music. Joanna Kołaczkowska at the Film Song Festival in Bydgoszcz

Joanna Kołaczkowska will be one of the stars of Monday's “Best Polish” concert as part of the Film Song Festival in Bydgoszcz. The cabaret, theater and dubbing actress, radio presenter and lyricist will perform the song “On tak nice kradnie” from the movie “Hallo Szpicbródka, or the last performance of the king of moneymakers”.

– I am very happy that I will be able to put some of my humor into my song, because it is very difficult for me to sing serious songs, so I am glad that there will be such a humorous element here – admitted Kołaczkowska in an interview with Ewelina Witenberg from TVN24.

– There is stage fright because it is a one-time performance and these are the most difficult moments when you have to prove yourself immediately and for the first time. It's difficult because we usually play something on stage and have the opportunity to try it out, play it a second, third, tenth and hundredth time until it's perfect, she explained. – And you have to do it right away. I don't know where I'll get this perfection, she added.

The artist explained that she was encouraged to participate in the event by the very idea of ​​a film song festival and the fact that Krzysztof Herdzin was responsible for the arrangements. – I knew I would give up everything, the kitchen, cleaning, everything and come here – she added. In a conversation with Ewelina Witenberg, she also admitted that film music is important to her. – I think that film music leaves its mark on films and images so much that they are practically inseparable. And this is a bit scary, because I would prefer to treat music as music, a part to be listened to, a separate art, and the film also a bit separately. It's terrifying how these two arts intertwine and yet how music has a slightly superior role over film, she said.

In addition to Joanna Kołaczkowska, on the second day of the Film Song Festival in Bydgoszcz, we will hear from such artists as Ania Rusowicz, Aleksandra Popławska, Mery Spolsky, Stanisław Soyka, and Tomasz Ziętek. Great hits will be heard from the stage, such as “Dumka na dwa hearts”, “Sleep my darling, sleep” and “Before the dawn of day”. On Monday, there will also be an awarding of statuettes for the most distinguished creators of film and TV series music. The concert will be broadcast on Monday, January 6 at 18:30 on TVN 7.
