They wanted to stop him for control because they suspected that he could be drunk. The driver, when he saw the policemen, began to run away. He was detained. It turned out that he was wanted by arrest warrant, and in the car he had drugs.

The incident occurred a few days ago in Ninków near Przysucha. Policemen received a notification about the driver of the Audi passenger car, which may be under the influence of alcohol. A patrol was directed to the place.

– At the sight of the officers, the driver attempted to escape, but the police quickly started chasing, which ended with the man's detention. During the intervention, it turned out that the 39 -year -old had a significant amount of intoxicants in the car – almost 100 grams of amphetamine and half a gram of marijuana – said Sergeant Aleksandra Bałtowska from the Poviat Police Headquarters in Przysucha.

As the policewoman added, the man was also wanted by arrest warrant for previous crimes, including for drug possession and theft. Instead, he had a penalty of nearly two years in prison. The 39-year-old was arrested.

– The District Prosecutor's Office in Przysucha initiated an investigation into the possession of a significant amount of intoxicants, making a suspect on additional allegations. In the light of the applicable regulations, he faces a penalty of up to 10 years imprisonment – summed up Sergeant Bałtowska.
