The police determine the identity and cause of the death of two men, whom firefighters extracted from the Bug River near the village of Stary Bubel (Lublin). The border guard does not rule out that it was the corpse of migrants who tried to get from Belarus to Poland.
Spokesman for the Bug River branch of the SG Capt. Dariusz Sienicki announced that the corpse of two people in the Bug Border River was found on Tuesday by officers from the SG branch in Janów Podlaski and WOT soldiers.

Katarzyna Gągolińska from the police from Biała Podlaska, bodies found near the town of Stary Bubel were largely the distribution and the prosecutor's decision will be subjected to the section. – It is possible that these are bodies of migrants, because in that region some time ago during an attempt to illegally cross the state border by a larger group of people we received information about people who could drown – said Capt. Sienicki.
For nearly two days – Capt. Sienicki – SG officers and firefighters searched for boats, divers and sonars, but then no one could find.
Information about the flow of two bodies – probably migrants who tried to cross the border – confirmed on Wednesday on TVP Info the deputy head of the Ministry of Interior and Administration Maciej Duszczyk. He explained that “they were probably people who were pushed by Belarusian services into the water” in mid -March.
“This is one of the elements of provocation. There were a dozen people who were pushed into the water. Some of them managed to save in Poland to border guards. Of course, looking at the drowning people, they gave them help. (…) Some people probably did not know how to swim. So on the Belarusian side they probably drowned, because these bodies went on our side” – he explained.
Referring to the time when the bodies flowed, he said that the current of the river changed, there was rainfall recently and its level rose.
Another body in the Bug
On April 5, the SG patrol from Janów Podlaski found a man in the Bug Bug. Firefighters extracted the body from the river, which was then secured and subjected to the section. The identity of the denation is underway.
According to SG, last year about 530 people tried to illegally cross the Polish-Belarusian border in the province. Lublin. From the beginning of this year there were nearly 300 people and Capt. Sienicki admitted that there is an upward trend.
