The Commune Office in Celestynów gave the likely reason for the faint of students during an appeal at the school in Stara Wieś (Masovian Voivodeship). The presence of hazardous substances has been excluded. Some children have already left the hospital.

The Commune Office in Celestynów published a message on this matter on Wednesday's late afternoon. He turned to the parents of children attending the School and Preschool Complex in Stara Wieś.

“In reference to the incident at the school of April 15 this year, we inform that out of 8 hospitalized children – 1 yesterday, 4 today left medical facilities, 3 remained on research. As for the cause of the incident, we explain that the State Fire Service did not find the presence of hazardous substances threatening the health and the lives of participants or the interference of external factors”

The reason was – as it turns out – completely different. “The intelligence carried out with children shows that a significant part of them having a weakening symptoms came to school without a morning meal. This situation, combined with the conditions in the gym during the school appeal, most likely contributed to the state of affairs,” it was indicated.

Officials also assured that on Wednesday children were already at school and no disturbing incidents were noted. “In addition, the case is further examined by the relevant services. We will inform you about the final results” – announced.
