People wanted on arrest warrants are almost always surprised to see police officers arresting them. This was also the case with the 48-year-old and the 57-year-old. They thought that to avoid punishment it was enough to live in other cities.
Wanted people often change their places of residence and place of work, and often hide from law enforcement agencies for years.
– One thing is certain – officers always succeed in their actions. And this effect for such people is surprising, sudden and unexpected. Great proof that people wanted by the justice system will end up in prison sooner or later are the arrests of a 48-year-old and a 57-year-old – says senior officer Magdalena Gąsowska, spokeswoman for the police in Piaseczno.

They will serve their sentence
The spokeswoman indicates that the first man was wanted on the basis of a detention order issued by the District Court in Piaseczno to serve a 25-day prison sentence.
– However, he did not intend to report to the penitentiary unit on his own, but he got there thanks to Piaseczno criminals who found out where he was currently hiding. Piaseczyński's “searchers” detained him in one of the apartments in Mińsk Mazowiecki, and then took him to a prison – he explains.
It was similar in the case of the 57-year-old. He, in turn, was detained in Wołomin.
– When the police showed up at his door – he did not hide his surprise. In accordance with the decision of the District Court in Piaseczno, he was detained and placed in a penitentiary, where he will serve a sentence of over three months in prison for an offense under Art. 288 of the Penal Code (destruction of things – ed.). – sums up the spokeswoman.
