Pinczyn. She got out of the car onto the road, was hit. Four-year-old girl dies

This tragic event occurred on the night from Saturday to Sunday at approximately 1:30 a.m. in the town of Pinczyn in Starogard County.

Investigators determined at the scene that a four-year-old girl, after getting out of the car, ran out from behind the vehicle onto the roadway and was hit by a Land Rover. The driver was a 23-year-old man, who was sober.

– Unfortunately, the injuries the girl suffered turned out to be fatal – said Staff Sergeant Karolina Przybyłowicz from the District Police Headquarters in Starogard Gdański.

The police secured the scene of the incident and are investigating the circumstances of the accident, working under the supervision of the prosecutor.
