Beware of fake messages impersonating a bank – warns PKO BP in a statement. “Do not open attachments or click on links in these types of emails. If you click on the link, you may lose your money and control of your account,” warn bank representatives.

“Beware of fake e-mails impersonating a bank with the subject: 'PKO has provided payment confirmation – Transaction ID: P24CON*****'. The messages have different e-mail addresses in the sender field, e.g.: 'PKO Bank Polski SA '.” – we read in the bank's statement.

“The content of the e-mails contains links in the cloud.diemo.space domain leading to the website from which malware is downloaded to the device,” the bank emphasizes.

“Do not open attachments or click on links in these types of emails. If you click on the link, you may lose money and control of your account,” we read.

The bank reminds that its e-mails and text messages do not contain links. “Before logging in to the iPKO website, always check the website address carefully. Links to fake websites are also included in search engine ads and look like regular search results,” the bank says.
