In the forest in the commune of Płaska (Podlaskie Voivodeship), someone left a plastic container with pyrotechnic materials. A mushroom picker found them and notified a police patrol that was passing by. The case was transferred to the Military Police and the Internal Security Agency.
– A plastic box was found on Sunday around noon in the forest in the Płaska commune by a mushroom picker. It was lying on the ground – says Assistant Commissioner Kinga Kalinowska from the District Police Headquarters in Augustów.
He adds that the container contained, among others: pyrotechnic materials.
There were Polish inscriptions on the box
– Grzybiarka informed the police patrol that was passing by about everything – says the subcommand. Kalinowska.
He points out that the container was marked with Polish inscriptions.
– The Military Police and the Military Security Agency were notified about the case – the policewoman notes.

Fragments of a balloon were also found in the forest in the same commune
On Friday, we reported that border guards found fragments of a weather balloon in the forest in the same commune with an attached package containing cigarettes without Polish excise stamps.
Near this place, two Lithuanians were detained who, as it turned out, were on their way to pick up the goods.
