Additional checks
The Border Guard emphasizes that although the Polish-Lithuanian border (its entire section of 104 km is in the Podlasie Voivodship) is the internal EU border, inspections are also carried out there. Especially since the Baltic countries bordering Belarus are also exposed to attempts to organize people's transfer through their borders. In Poland, additional inspections are also carried out by the services cooperating with the SG – the police, Cash register and road transport inspection.
