“We would like to inform you that we are struggling with a global Microsoft operating system failure at Baltic Hub, which is hindering the functioning of the terminal,” Baltic Hub informed in a message that appeared after entering the company's home page. This is the largest container port in the Baltic Sea. On July 19, after 10:30, information was posted that the failure had been resolved.

The failure was reported by shift manager Radosław Cieślak. Before the problem was solved, customers were asked not to go to the terminal. Baltic Hub reported that “due to the failure, the booked slots from 09:00-09:59 and 10:00-10:59 have been deleted“. A request was also made to perform new notifications for the aforementioned slots. The company also informed that the messages can be tracked in the e.Brama system.

Microsoft experienced a major server outage on the night from Thursday to Friday. Users around the world had trouble accessing Application Microsoft 365 and cloud services. The problem also affected companies. Many airports and airlines had to ground their planes. Sky News was unable to broadcast from the morning, and the Australian telecommunications operator Telstra also had problems.
The outage was almost completely fixed by Friday morning. However, not all servers have been restored, so some users may still experience problems.
