It was a pope of ordinary people. He showed that the head of the church does not have to be the president of the corporation in the limousine – Sister Małgorzata Chmielewska recalled Franciszek on TVN24. According to her, he “really loved people and was a humble man.”
On Easter Monday at the age of 88 he died Pope Francis. Sister Małgorzata Chmielewska admitted in the evening conversation on TVN24 that Francis was “very close to her spiritually”.
– I think it was a pope of ordinary people. The pope who spoke a simple language. He showed that the Pope does not have to be the president of the corporation in the limousine, which years are a private jeer. He showed that he could share the fate of ordinary people. It was absolutely true for him – she said.
She mentioned that she participated twice in events with Franciszek. – Twice I had the opportunity to look into the pope's eyes. He really loved people and was a man full of humble, and this is extremely important, because every power can conquer us a little balloon of pride – said sister Chmielewska.

– He was a pope who turned out to be human. For example, this story from the last days, when the Pope appeared in public in pants, which outraged the holy camp of some pious Catholics – she recalled with a smile of Gościni TVN24.
On April 10, the Pope came unexpectedly to the Basilica of Saint Peter. He wanted to see the results of conservation works carried out in the basilica and thank the people working there. Franciszek arrived in a wheelchair. He was wearing ordinary clothes: black pants, a white sweater and was covered with a light plaid. He also had a nasal cannula for oxygen. For the first time the pope was seen in such clothes, without a cassock. The pope's pram was pushed by his personal nurse Massimiliano Strapttti.

Who will become the successor of Pope Francis?
The faithful are now wondering who will replace Francis, who became famous for his modesty and open worldview. Sister Chmielewska, when asked about the successor of the deceased Pope, said that “there is no way back”. – The huge crowds of Catholics wanted it, (…) Certainly certain things cannot be undone – believes the sister.
– I think that the next pope will follow the path of the Gospel, faithfulness and teaching of the Church. But he will ventilate what is not the Gospel, which is unnecessary, which is a burden and I hope will be for the next generations – she added.
