Budget-related Act: On Monday, December 23, the president's office announced that Andrzej Duda signed the budget-related act for 2025. This is an act closely related to the proceedings budget act for next year. The document introduces, among others: changes to the Act of August 30, 1996 on commercialization and certain employee rights. Thanks new regulations the average salary of teachers will increase by 2,308%. The act also includes provisions regarding the financial management of the Public Utility Bus Transport Development Fund and the Capital Investment Fund. The document also contains regulations regarding the transfer of Treasury securities.
Wage subsidy: President Andrzej Duda also signed amending the Act on vocational and social rehabilitation and employment of disabled people. Thanks to her by about 15 percent wage subsidies will increase employees with disabilities. The amendment also introduces a pay raise for people with disabilities who have a mental illness, mental retardation, pervasive developmental disorders or epilepsy, and for the blind. In the event of a significant degree of disability, the amount will be increased from PLN 1,200 to PLN 1,380.
Copyright Act: One of the documents signed by President Duda is also an amendment to the Act on Copyright and Related Rights and the Act on games gambling. Thanks to the changes, writers and publishers will continue to receive money remuneration for borrowing from libraries. All laws signed by Andrzej Duda enter into force on January 1, 2025.
