We start another nationwide campaign “Citizens forward” – announced on Sunday the candidate of KO for president Rafał Trzaskowski. One of the leaders of the initiative Senator Krzysztof Kwiatkowski explained that “this is not a normal element of the election campaign – this is the movement of citizens who demand value”. As part of the campaign, politicians will meet with residents all over Poland.
On Sunday Rafał Trzaskowski He met as part of the election campaign with the inhabitants of Ostrów Mazowiecka. At the beginning of his speech, he thanked for the support so far and as he said – last weekend 13.6 thousand election banners supported his candidacy in Poland. Over 15,000 local government officials got involved in the “local governments” campaign.
– We try to get everywhere. Of course, I can't be in several places at once and that's why I thank you very much for this support. Today we are starting another action “Citizens forward”, because a lot of people want to help, also great thanks – told Trzaskowski.

The leaders of the new initiative appeared at the meeting: MEP Kamila Gasiuk-Pihowicz, Senator Krzysztof Kwiatkowski and MP Jakub Rutnicki.
– It is not a coincidence that we start the civic action here today in Ostrów Mazowiecka. Because Ostrów Mazowiecka is a place that is absolutely synonymous with civic commitment and synonym of success – said Gasiuk -Pihowicz, recalling the election success of the local KO candidate, mayor Hubert Betlejewski. – Because that's how it is. If there is a good candidate and committed citizens, this is victory – she added.

Kwiatkowski then spoke about the new initiative. – The “Citizens” campaign is not a normal element of the election campaign. This is the movement of citizens who admonish the value: transparency, transparency, honesty. About everything that our candidate Rafał Trzaskowski symbolizes – he said.
Politicians also announced that the new action will cover dozens of towns, bazaars and squares, where they will talk to the residents and present the program. – Today we are in Mazovia, tomorrow we will be in the mountains, the day after tomorrow we will be in Masuria. We will be there everywhere to convince you to vote for our candidate – assured Rutnicki.
Presidential election in 2025
The presidential election will take place on May 18. On Friday at 4pm, it was time to submit candidates to the National Electoral Commission before this year's election.
So far, the National Electoral Commission has registered 11 candidates. Are: Artur Bartoszewicz, Magdalena Biejat, Grzegorz Braun, Szymon Hołownia, Marek Jakubiak, Sławomir Mentzen, Karol NawrockiJoanna Senyszyn, Rafał Trzaskowski, Marek Woch and Adrian Zandberg.
