Secretary General of the Civic Platform and government plenipotentiary for post-flood reconstruction Marcin Kierwiński he said in “Fakty po Faktach” on TVN24, “in Poland, presidential elections are decided by two or three percent of votes.”

– This fight will probably be fierce now too. This only shows one thing: that we have finished the primaries, and now we will have to fight for every vote, be in every, even the smallest, town, and that nothing is given away here. Even good ones polls they cannot let their guard down. We are going into battle, he emphasized.

Kierwiński also argued that “Rafał Trzaskowski has knowledge and potential.” – He is in optimal shape to win the presidential election. And we will all help him. Radosław Sikorski also said it very, very strongly today. And I'm very happy about it, he admitted.

“PiS will fight for its life”

The PO secretary general said he “assumes that it will be a difficult campaign and that it will be a brutal campaign.” When asked why he thought so, he replied: – Because PIS he will fight for his life.

– They still hope to maintain some remnants of impunity. Today, the guarantor of impunity for some PiS politicians, at least that's what they think of it, is the president (Andrzej) Duda. Because President Duda, after the change of government, became the last bastion defending this rotten PiS camp – he argued.

– So they, fighting for their lives, will use the worst methods. Besides, they got used to it, to be honest, that their campaign is dirty, aggressive and so unpretentious. And Rafał Trzaskowski will have to face all this – he noted.

He also assured that “Trzaskowski will not be alone.” – He will have behind him an army of people who voted for him today and an army of volunteers who supported us in the elections on October 15 – said Kierwiński.
