A 48-year-old had more than two per mille of alcohol in his body, who on Saturday evening entered the pond in the village of Zabradz (Lesser Poland). Immediately after the incident, he disappeared, but then he returned. He claimed that he went to change.
On Saturday, after 19 in the town of Przybradz near Wadowice, a passenger car fell into the pond. Drivers managed to get out of the vehicle on their own. What's more, he was in such good condition that he moved away from the scene.
– He went to his place of residence, which was nearby. Then, during our activities, he returned to the place. He claimed that he went to change – young brig. Krzysztof Cieciak, press officer of the Wadowice Fire Brigade.

Two per mille in the body
Firefighters, using a heavy technical rescue car from the rescue and firefighting unit in Chrzanów, towed the vehicle from the pond, while a 48-year-old driver was dealt with by police.

Driving a vehicle in a state of intoxication is a crime punishable by up to three years in prison. In the case of recidivism, imprisonment may be from three months to even five years. If the driver had more than 1.5 per mille of alcohol in the body, the court also decides the forfeiture of the car.
