Puławy. A three -year -old boy was alone in the playground. Preschoolers did not take him. The case is dealt with by the police

The three -year -old boy was alone in the playground when his group returned to kindergarten. The child noticed a resident of Puławy (Lublin) passing there and called the police. The headmaster of the kindergarten tells us that the child for fun hid from the teachers behind the trash can.

The reader who sent a message on Kontakt24 informed us about the case. On Thursday (May 8) around noon, the police got a report from the Puławy resident that there was an unattended child at one of the playgrounds.

Investigation into the exposure of the child in danger

– Before, a kindergarten group left the playground. The policemen went with the child to the nearest kindergarten. It turned out that this three-year-old boy attends there-says Commissioner Ewa Rejn-Kozak from the Poviat Police Headquarters in Puławy.

The uniforms initiated an investigation from Article 160 Paragraph 2 of the Penal Code. It is about a crime of exposing a person to a direct danger of losing his life or severe damage to health. For which in such a case like this – when the perpetrator is obliged to care for a person – he faces three to five years imprisonment.

– The proceedings are conducted in the case. Nobody heard the allegations – says the policewoman.

Director of the kindergarten in Puławy: The boy hid behind the trash can

Aneta Falkowska, director of the Private Kindergarten, Kot Filemon in Puławy, says that the boy for fun hid from the teachers.

– The playground is fenced. Five teachers looked after the 20-person group. The boy was in hand with another child. However, he did not come out with the group, because he used the moment when the gate was not yet closed and the teachers put the children in the prams. Then he hid behind the trash bin, which stands next to the gate. He told us later – the director points out.

Two days earlier he also tried to stay longer in the playground

He adds that on Tuesday, i.e. two days earlier, the boy also wanted to stay in the playground longer, but the teacher took his hand and walked with him.

– On Thursday she set him together with another child and he hid. So on Tuesday, he failed to stay in the playground longer, and and Thursday he succeeded. He was dressed all in black, and the cost of garbage is quite large – says Falkowska.

It informs that the playground is located about 700 meters from kindergarten, and the fact that the boy is not in the group noticed the teachers when they entered the building with the children.

Psychologist: The boy did not incur emotional costs

– It was at this moment the boy was brought by the police. The group covered the distance between the playground and the kindergarten in about 15 minutes. The boy was alone on the playground for about five minutes. He was sitting on a bench. Then he was noticed by a passerby and called the police – says the director.

He emphasizes that the child was not crying. – It was even happy that she was brought to kindergarten by a policeman. Our psychologist said, fortunately, the boy did not incur any emotional costs of what happened. He ate dinner and then went to sleep. My mother picked him up at the end of the day – says Falkowska.

He tells us that such a situation happened for the first time. – Five teachers up to 20 children show that we are careful. And the children, as you can see, are unpredictable – emphasizes the director.
