Kaczyński refers to Zbigniew Brzeziński
Kaczyński was asked whether any consequences would be brought against Macierewicz, vice-president of Law and Justice, in connection with the many irregularities indicated in the experts' report. – I will refer here to the statement of the late Zbigniew Brzeziński, who claimed that if the Chinese killed President of the United Stateshowever United States to hide the truth about it. I think you are knowledgeable enough to understand the meaning of my answer, Kaczyński replied.
Brzeziński talked about “irresponsible nonsense about the Smolensk attack”
On Thursday evening, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs posted an entry regarding this situation on social media Radosław Sikorski.
“Since PiS politicians invoke the authority of my mentor and friend, Prof. Zbigniew Brzeziński, regarding the Smolensk disaster, I would like to remind you what he really thought about their conspiracy theories,” he wrote.
He also included a fragment of an archived conversation between Zbigniew Brzeziński and the reporter of “Fakty” TVN, Katarzyna Kolenda-Zaleska.
– This constant irresponsible nonsense about some Smolensk attack, without indicating who is responsible for this attack, but suggesting that it is probably both the Polish government and maybe the Soviets, and maybe both, is something so disgusting and so so harmful that I hope that more responsible people in the government opposition will approach it differently – said the political scientist at the time.
– Because it is a terribly nasty job, apparently done by a few people suffering from some psychological difficulties, which may be understandable from a human point of view, but for which there is no place in political life and that is what we need to consider. Because you cannot destroy what is democracy like this, and democracy is the ability to cooperate and compete, said Brzeziński, who died in 2017.
