1. A split in the Razem party
The Deputy Speaker of the Senate, Magdalena Biejat, together with a group of female politicians, left the Razem party. In “Fakty po Faktach” on TVN24, she said that “when she joined this group, it was a party about changing the world for the better.”
– Today, the path to changing the world for the better does not lead through eternal criticism of everyone around us – she said, adding that there is a “fundamental division visible” in the party.

2. Report and applications to the prosecutor's office regarding the Macierewicz commission
The Ministry of Defense presented team reportwho assessed the functioning of Antoni Macierewicz's Smolensk subcommittee. As reported by the head of the Ministry of National Defense WĆadysĆaw Kosiniak-Kamyszthe team negatively assessed the operation of the subcommittee in all aspects examined, i.e. economy, legality, purposefulness and reliability.
Deputy Minister of National Defense Cezary Tomczyk he announced that, based on the report, 41 applications would be submitted to the prosecutor's office, including 24 regarding Antoni Macierewicz himself.
3. An unusual verdict for Swiss franc borrowers
A person who takes out a loan for an apartment which he or she later intends to rent is also a consumer and is protected by the Directive on unfair terms in consumer contracts – according to Thursday's ruling of the Court of Justice of the European Union.
According to experts, the new ruling will significantly strengthen the position of people renting apartments previously financed with a Swiss franc loan.
4. The court decided to arrest the priest
Father MichaĆ O. may be released from custody conditionally after paying a bail of PLN 350,000. His defense attorney announced the court's decision.
This is the president of the Profeto Foundation, which was to build a support center for crime victims for almost one hundred million zlotys. According to investigators, officials of the Ministry of Justice, in consultation with the priest, ensured that the foundation won the competition, even though it did not meet the formal and substantive conditions. Thursday's court decision also applies to two other people detained in the investigation.
5. The judges refuse Manowska
By order of September 12, the first president of the Supreme Court MaĆgorzata Manowska convened the first General Assembly of Supreme Court Judges in four years on Thursday. The last one was supposed to take place in 2020, but not enough judges showed up at the meeting to reach a quorum.
“Until constitutional order is restored in the Supreme Court, we will not participate in judges' meetings,” said 32 judges of the Supreme Court. The judges indicated, among others, the reason: allowing judges appointed after changes to the National Council of the Judiciary to participate in the meeting.
6. Polish teams win in European cups
Legia Warszawa won their second match in the regular phase of the Conference League. This time the capital team did not give in Serbia chances for the TCS Backa Topol team, winning 3-0.
Before Jagiellonia BiaĆystok won at home against Moldovan Petrocub Hincesti 2:0 (0:0). The Polish champions dominated most of the match, but were ineffective for a long time. This weakness was finally overcome by the Angolan Afimico Pululu.
