Road aggression on the S7 expressway. A policewoman left the car, now she has problems

The Świętokrzyska police tracked down a man who, on the S7 expressway, drove the road to another driver, forced him to brake, and finally left the car and behaved aggressively. His passenger also has problems, who also left the vehicle and showed the middle finger. It turned out to be a policewoman. The police initiated disciplinary proceedings against her.

On Sunday, March 30, on the S7 expressway in the Mierzawa area – in the south of the Świętokrzyskie Province, near Jędrzejów – there was a dangerous situation. The Toyota driver after overtaking another car got his way, and then forced the driver to brake and stop.

All this was recorded by a webcam in a vehicle, which he had to brake because of a dangerous maneuver. In the video made available to our editorial office by the creators of the Stop Cham channel, you can see that the Toyota driver stops partly on the emergency lane. The recorder goes down to this lane. You can hear other traffic participants – one of the bystanders is also forced to slow down hard.

The whole situation looks typical “brake check”, i.e. sudden and malicious braking to “check the brakes” and reflexes of the person following it. Sometimes this behavior results in collision.

The recording then shows how the Toyota driver leaves the vehicle and approaches the driver who got the road. There is a vulgar exchange. The man has a grudge that the driver allegedly had to get his way earlier – it is probably about the moment when he was ahead of another vehicle. After a few sentences you can hear a blow. – What are you doing?! – asks the agitated recording. Around the same time, a passenger comes out of Toyota, who shows the driver's vulgar gesture – the middle finger. Then the aggressive couple gets back to the vehicle and leaves.

According to the driver's report, he was hit by the Toyota aggressor – probably that's why you can hear a hit on the recording.

Disciplinary proceedings towards a policewoman

The authors of the STOP Cham profile after publishing the recording wrote that the woman you can see in the video is probably a policewoman. It did not take long for the reaction – the Provincial Police Headquarters in Kielce confirmed this information the same day.

In the communication of the command we read that the recording in this matter went to the traffic set of road aggression on Sunday. The officers “implemented explanatory actions” – the victim and several witnesses were questioned in this matter. “We know who the Toyota driver is – will bear the consequences of his behavior,” the police noted.

“At the same time, we confirmed that the Toyota passenger was an officer. Explanatory actions are also conducted and disciplinary consequences will be drawn,” it was emphasized in the communiqué.

Inspector Kamil Tokarski, a press officer of the Świętokrzyskie police, informed tvn24.pl that both the driver and the policewoman may be responsible for creating a traffic threat. – The policewoman did not drive a vehicle, but she should not leave it fast – explained Tokarski.

The spokesman emphasized that the Toyota driver is not a policeman. An officer, who has been initiated by disciplinary proceedings, works at the Provincial Police Headquarters in Kielce.
