Tragic accident in Roszczyce, Pomerania. The 21-year-old driver lost control of the vehicle and hit a tree. He was drunk. A 17-year-old passenger died. Apart from the driver, two passengers, aged 19 and 20, were taken to hospital.
According to the Pomeranian police, the accident occurred on Sunday just after 5 a.m. in Roszczyce in the Lębork district.

“The 21-year-old driver of the Volkswagen Passat, most likely due to his drunkenness and inability to adjust his speed to the road conditions, lost control of the vehicle around a bend in the road, drove off to the side of the road and hit a tree,” the Pomeranian police said.
A 17-year-old passenger died in the accident.
The driver was drunk
The police checked the driver's sobriety. It turned out he was drunk. He had 1.26 per mille in his body. The 21-year-old and the other passengers, aged 19 and 20, were taken to hospital.
The police, under the supervision of the prosecutor's office, are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
