The Kremlin informs that Russian President Vladimir Putin, through a special USA messenger for the Middle East Steve Witkoff, gave Donald Trump a gift. According to the American press, it is a portrait of the US president.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Pieskow He did not reveal the character of a gift, arguing that “he has a personal character”. The American media, however, managed to get more information from The US envoy for the Middle East Steve Witkoffwho revealed that this is a portrait of Trump painted by a Russian artist.
Earlier, the media reported that Trump demanded the removal of his portrait hanging on the Capitol of the State of Colorado. The US president found the picture unsuccessful.
According to Trump, the portrait made by the British artist Sarah Boardman was “deliberately distorted” to such a level that he did not recognize himself. He called the Governor of the State to take a picture of the picture.

Trump dissatisfied with the portrait

The portrait of Trump by Boardman has been hanging in the Capitol of the State of Colorado since 2019. The American president noted that he obliged Governor Jared Palis to remove the image on behalf of “many people from Colorado” who were “angry” and demanded his removal.
