Ryszard Petru will have a new job?: On the X platform, the politician said that he would love to sit behind the cash register in one of shops on Christmas Eve, December 24. As it quickly turned out, it is possible. “I received a job offer on Christmas Eve from one of the discount stores. We're talking” – Ryszard Petru said on the X platform.
The cash register at Kaufland awaits: Confederation Labor OPZZ in Kaufland reported that it had applied to the company's management board for possibility of employing Ryszard Petru in the Warsaw Kaufland in Bemowo. “We want the MP learned the specifics of the job in trade and faced the hardshipthat supermarket employees experience on a daily basis,” reads an excerpt from the letter to the company's management board. In the entry on the X platform, it was stated that Ryszard Petru may then will give up trying to take Sundays off.
What is it about: The Left has submitted project of a statutory holiday on December 24which the Sejm voted on in mid-November. Such an idea Ryszard Petru strongly opposes thisarguing that entrepreneurs will bear the costs high switching costs. The bill was not approved for second reading, which would have allowed for holidays to be introduced this year. The project was referred to the Committee on Social Policy and Family and the Committee on Economy and Development.
