On November 4, the Warsaw paid unguarded parking zone will expand to include Saska Kępa and Kamionek. It is worth hurrying and submitting an application for a resident subscription as soon as possible, said the Municipal Roads Authority.

The unattended paid parking zone (SPPN) in Saska Kępa and Kamionek includes over four thousand designated parking spaces on nearly one hundred streets. Some of them will be marked with the B-35 sign along with an additional plate indicating that parking is prohibited for everyone except residents with IDs. The zone was introduced by a resolution of the Warsaw council.

An application for a resident's subscription can be submitted online via the website dziennikzdomu.zdm.waw.pl or in-store at any ZTM Passenger Service Point. When applying for a subscription, you must provide the required documents.

Who is the subscription for?

To receive a resident's subscription, you must be registered for permanent or temporary residence in SPPN, have settled personal income tax for the previous year in Warsaw and be the owner, co-owner or user of a car with a total permissible weight of up to 2.5 t or a passenger car over 2.5 t. vol.

There are two types of subscriptions to choose from in the zone. The cheaper one – district – costs PLN 30 per year and allows you to park in the area within a radius of 200 m from the place of registration.

An area subscription allows you to park in the area designated in accordance with the map of subscription areas in SPPN. It also entitles you to park on both sides of the streets constituting the boundaries of the areas. It costs PLN 600 per year, and payment is possible in two installments of PLN 300 each (only in the case of a subscription at POP ZTM).

The zone is getting bigger

The unattended paid parking zone has been in place in Warsaw since 1999 and initially covered only the very center of the city. After a decade, it was expanded, among others: o Powiśle, Old and New Town. In 2013, the border of the area with parking meters moved from Żelazna to Okopowa in the west, from Koszykowa to Wawelska in the south, and in the north instead of al. Solidarity reached the Gdański Railway Station, the Radosława roundabout and a part of Praga-Północ. Since 2020, its area has increased twice in stages – by parts of Wola and Praga-Północ, Żoliborz and Ochota, pl. Hallera and its surroundings and northern Mokotów.
