After 15 years, the voice-over artist and radio journalist Jarosław Juszkiewicz ceases to be the voice of Google Maps navigation. – Artificial intelligence has recently been rolling through the world of voice workers like a huge roller – he said in his farewell recording.

Jarosław Juszkiewicz published a recording on social media on Wednesday in which he announced “farewell to the human voice of Google Maps.” – I was the voice of Google Maps for 15 years. Thank you for the millions of kilometers we traveled together and for all the extraordinary places we discovered together, when I sometimes led you astray, he said.

– How many times have I heard: where the hell is noon? Once, in one of my videos, I talked about how to find the directions of the world. Today, this will probably be explained more precisely by artificial intelligence, which has recently been sweeping through the world of people working with voice like a giant roller. And I can say with my own human voice, probably for the last time: smile wonderfully and head south, but if not, also follow your intuition and heart, because AI cannot do that yet – Juszkiewicz added in the recording.
