Elon Musk, a billionaire and adviser to US President Donald Trump, called the Democrats senator Marek Kelly a traitor in the context of his visit to Kiev. Kelly, a former astronaut, called for further support of Ukraine.

“You are a traitor,” wrote Elon Musk on X, responding to a series of entries of Senator from Arizona Marek Kelly about the recently completed visit to Ukraine. The billionaire did not develop his speech.

“The traitor? Elon, if you do not understand that the defense of freedom is the basic principle of what makes America great and provides us with security, maybe you should leave it to those of us who understand this” – answered the politician.

Musk criticizes supporters of supporting Ukraine

Kelly, a former astronaut and air force pilot USAhe wrote that “everyone wants this war to end, but any agreement must protect Ukraine's security and cannot be a gift for Putin.”

He also argued that the break in the supply of weapons helps only the Russians, which additionally emboldens them and encourages them to put harder conditions in negotiations.
