Sławomir Mentzen about rape as unpleasantness. Monika Rosa: For the confederation, a woman is simply an object

For them, a woman is simply an object, not a person who can decide about herself – said Monika Rosa (KO) in “Facts after Facts”, commenting on the words of the confederation candidate for President Sławomir Mentzen about abortion in the event of rape. Barbara Oliwiecka (Poland 2050) assessed that members of this party “do not have a penny of empathy, they do not have a penny of social solidarity”.

Recently, in the Zero channel he said that “you must not kill innocent children, even if the child is associated with some unpleasantness.” – We have no right to kill another man, just because this man hurts us that he is unpleasant for us, that he can hurt our life a lot – he said. Mentzen used the word “unpleasantness” in response to whether he is against the law to abortion in the event of pregnancy as a result of rape.

As Oliwiecka assessed, “these are scandalous words.” “Stone in the shoe is unpleasant,” she said.

– It shows what perspective Sławomir Mentzen and Confederation. They build a country for healthy, strong, rich, young men and have such a perspective. She corresponds to the electorate group that is in such a situation. However, they do not have a penny of empathy, they do not have such social solidarity for a penny – she commented.

Rosa said that Mentzen “hid his views on women about abortion very carefully in the campaign.” – I will also add that the confederation as a whole voted against the change in the definition of rape. In this term, we introduced a change in the definition so that the lack of consent to sex is simply rape. The confederation was against this act. Why? Because he treats women very objectively. A bit as a man's property, a bit as such a mass that can be decided – she assessed.

According to her, among others, these words about rape “confirm exactly that for them a woman is simply an object, not a person who can decide about herself.”
