She received her first nutcracker when she was a child. She wasn't happy then, she preferred ice skating. As it turned out, over time, collecting wooden figurines became her passion. Even though she has 500 pieces, when looking for another grandpa, she knows whether there is one already on her shelf. – Do I have a favorite? You know, it's like with children, you love them all, says Mrs. Aldona in an interview with tvn24.pl.

Mrs. Aldona lives in Słupsk (Pomeranian Voivodeship). She sent us photos of her extraordinary collection at Contact24. He already has 500 nutcrackers and he does not hide that this will not be the end.

– My passion has been going on for 30 years, it started when I was a little girl. I wanted to be an ice skater and get ice skates, but I got a nutcracker. I remember being very dissatisfied with this gift. This nutcracker lay there and lay there until I finally started buying and collecting more myself. Currently, my collection consists of 500 grandparents, he says.

“As soon as I touch it, I immediately know if it's an old nutcracker.”

As Mrs. Aldona says, she looks for figurines everywhere. – On holidays, on trips, at fairs, in antique shops, I can always find something. I also hear a lot from friends. I'm only interested in old grandparents. Of course, I get new ones from friends, but I prefer old ones. They have their own history and soul. As soon as I touch it, I immediately know whether it is an old nutcracker or a new one, he adds.
