Remuneration in Poland in 2024
However, it was varied depending on the PKD section. The highest was in the section Information and communication and amounted to PLN 13,459.50 gross. Accommodation and gastronomy were the lowest in the section. On average, you could earn PLN 5,516.44 gross.
Compared to 2023, “in all PKD sections an increase in the average gross nominal monthly monthly monthly salary was noted,” said GUS.
The office also reminded that last year minimum gross wage in the period from January to June PLN 4,242.00, and in the period from July to December PLN 4,300.00.
“According to preliminary data, in December 2024, the remuneration, which was equal or lower than the minimum gross salary, was collected by 402.7 thousand employed people” – he was noted.
Number of full -time jobs in Poland
The CSO also provided data on average employment in the national economy in 2024. The number of full -time jobs was 11 million. Compared to the previous year, it was more 0.3 percent.
Most jobs were focused in the industrial processing section – 22.5 percent. average total employment.
In turn, in relation to 2023, average employment increased the most in the sections of accommodation and gastronomy (by 3.1 %) as well as health care and social assistance and activities related to culture, entertainment (by 2.1 percent).
In relation to 2023, average employment decreased in five sections, where the largest decrease was recorded in the sections of production and supplying electricity, gas, water vapor and hot water as well as administration and supporting activities (by 3.2 percent and 2.6 %, respectively).
