She was taken to hospital together with her three children. The tractor driver had more than half the permille of alcohol in his body.
On Friday morning in Stara Huta, a 37-year-old Volkswagen driver overtook a farm tractor. As the police initially determined, the tractor driver turned left at that moment and blocked her path.
Police: The injuries do not pose a threat to their health or life
The 37-year-old woman, wanting to avoid a collision, drove to the side of the road. The car landed in a ditch and then hit a tree.
“As a result of this accident, the driver of the Volkswagen and three children traveling with her suffered bodily injuries and all of them were taken to hospital. Fortunately, it turned out that the identified injuries did not pose a threat to their health or life,” says Staff Aspirant Marcin Józwik from the District Police Headquarters in a press release. in Łuków.
He had over half a per mille of alcohol in his body
He adds that while the 37-year-old from the Wola Mysłowska commune was sober, the same cannot be said about the 35-year-old from the Kłoczew commune who was driving the tractor.
“After checking, it turned out that he had over half a permille of alcohol in his body,” the policeman notes.
The officers are investigating the details of the accident. The case will end in court.
