Sudan. Army attack on the market. Hundreds of killed civilians

The Sudanese army was attacking the market in the north Darfur in the west of Sudan. Hundreds of civilians were killed – reports the AFP agency, which cites a group of lawyers.

IN Sudan From mid -April 2023, a conflict has been undergoing between government troops and the Rebel forces of fast support (RSF). The war broke out as a result of a dispute in the alliance, which two years earlier overthrew the government supported by the West and took power. The main characters of the conflict are General Abdel Fattah Al -Burhan, who after the uproot from 2021 became the head of the country, and Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo – in the past one of the more influential personalities of the Sudan army, and from 2023 the main commander of the RSF.
