A close ally of US President-elect Donald Trump, Susi Wiles, is to take over as White House chief of staff in his new administration, said Trump himself in a statement, who is staying at his Mar-a-Lago residence in Palm Beach, Florida, after his victorious election campaign.

One of the most important functions in the new administration USAWhite House chief of staff, according to President-elect Donald Trump's announcement, will be replaced by Susie Wiles, who has so far been one of his election campaign managers.

“Susie Wiles just helped me achieve one of the greatest political victories in American history, and she was also part of my successful election campaigns in 2016 and 2020,” reads the president-elect's statement, quoted by Reuters.

“Susie is strong, intelligent, has an innovative vision, is admired and respected. She will be the first woman in the history of the United States to lead the White House staff,” it added. Her views are not widely known to the public.

Previously, it was speculated that this position could also be given to Brooke Rollins, former head of the Domestic Policy Council, with whom Trump has a close personal relationship and who is considered a fairly moderate politician.
