According to the spokesman of the Provincial Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Łódź, after arriving at the scene of the incident, the entire building was engulfed in fire.
The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. in Swolszewice Małe near Tomaszów Mazowiecki. The services were informed about a fire in a single-family house.

– We received the report from our son who lives in the building next door. When he reported the intervention, the fire was already going through the roof. After the first crews arrived, practically the entire house was on fire. After extinguishing the fire, firefighters found the charred body of a 76-year-old woman in the blaze, says Brigadier Jędrzej Pawlak from the Provincial Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Łódź.
