We must provide a fair health insurance premium, we will not give up on this matter, declared the leader of Poland 2050, Szymon Hołownia, during Saturday's convention. The Marshal of the Sejm summarized the group's activities so far, emphasizing that although not all promises had been fulfilled, the party was ready to continue working. He also talked about zero percent credit, settlements and employment in state-owned companies.

During Saturday's convention of the Poland 2050 Party Szymon Hołownia summarized the work so far in parliament and the government and presented a plan for future actions. During his speech, he emphasized that voters chose Poland 2050 politicians not for one year, but for four. He admitted that they didn't manage to do everything they thought they could do in the first year.

– Today, apart from these words of gratitude, there must also be an apology. Today we must apologize to all those to whom we did not provide the hope that they had in the fact that democratic forces would come to power, that they would take over the government, that they would begin to reverse the misfortune of the retreating state that the country brought to us. PIS – said the leader of Poland 2050.

He also emphasized that it is necessary to put emphasis on Poland's further development. “We must today inflect the word 'development' in all possible cases and place it, if not on an equal footing, then before the concept of 'settlement', (…) which cannot dominate the horizon today,” he added.

– (…) The longer we dwell on settlements that are necessary but are not the meaning of our existence in politics, the less energy, time and strength we will have for development. And the motto of our party, the heart of our DNA, is development, he emphasized.

“We need to bring a fair health insurance premium”

The head of Poland 2050 touched upon, among others, the issue of changes in health insurance premiums. “We need to provide a fair health insurance premium. Finally, a fair one, not robbing people and telling them that this is something that builds Polish health care,” he said. “If anyone thinks that we will give up, they are seriously mistaken. I want to say it clearly and very clearly: we are not satisfied with the arrangements that we hear about today in some behind-the-scenes rumors leaked to the media. We will fight hard,” he added.

Hołownia also talked about a zero percent loan and expressed the opinion that the coalition partners are able to reach an agreement on this issue. “We don't want subsidies for developers, we don't want subsidies for banks, they have enough money. We want people to be able to afford an apartment, and this is as simple as a flail's construction. If there are fewer apartments, they will have a higher price. If there are more apartments, the price will be lower,” he said.

About filling positions in companies: you need to know who, where, and on what terms

Hołownia also talked about the issue of people involved in politics sitting in State Treasury companies. As he said, this process must be civilized. “It must be clear and transparent. You need to know who, where, on what terms. And not that we wake up suddenly, after a year of coalition, and it turns out that in Totalizator Sportowy there is aunt on aunt, uncle on uncle, relative on relative and acquaintance to acquaintance. This is not what we agreed on,” Hołownia emphasized.

“I will say it clearly and directly: we will not allow ourselves to be lectured on this matter by those who carry out and carry out this process without any resistance in State Treasury companies, in municipal companies, and who accuse us of the fact that one, two or three people who were involved in some related to Poland 2050, in a clear process, in accordance with the principles we agreed on, suddenly found themselves on one or another supervisory board. There are so many of them that you can count them on one hand when it comes to State Treasury companies, and they are admonishing them us, those whose nominees number in the dozens or even hundreds,” he added.
