The police closed down a marijuana farm run by a 60-year-old woman on one of the properties in the Telatyn commune (Lublin Voivodeship). The officers also searched the house she rented. There, they revealed counterfeit clothing that she was preparing for sale.
Police officers dealing with combating drug crime found that a 60-year-old woman from the Telatyn commune runs a cannabis plantation and possesses drugs and clothing with counterfeit trademarks.
The uniformed officers, together with Border Guard officers, went to the woman's place of residence.
They also secured dried plants
“The 60-year-old woman was growing non-fibrous hemp on the property. The plants were in various stages of growth, some were almost two meters high,” writes Staff Sergeant Aneta Brzykcy from the District Police Headquarters in Tomaszów Lubelski in a press release.
Additionally, the police seized almost 200 grams of dried plants. After testing, it turned out that it contained marijuana.
Over two thousand pieces of counterfeit clothing
The officers also searched the house rented by the woman (also in the Telatyn commune) and discovered there clothing with counterfeit trademarks that she was preparing for sale.
“A total of over 2,000 pieces of clothing from well-known global brands, tags, shipping labels and packaging bags were secured,” the policewoman notes.

She faces up to three years in prison
The 60-year-old was arrested and charged with possession of narcotic drugs and cultivation of non-fibrous hemp. For which she faces a penalty of up to three years in prison.
“Officers are still conducting activities regarding the marketing of clothing with counterfeit trademarks,” emphasizes Sgt. pcs. Brzykcy.
