The average salary of students in Poland increased by over PLN 190 during the year. It amounts to around PLN 3.6 thousand net – according to a study prepared under the Career Program of the Polish Business Council. Students from Wrocław can boast of the highest earnings in the country.
According to data from the “Student at Work” study, conducted as part of the Career Program of the Polish Business Council shows that the average salary of Żaków in Poland amounts to PLN 3,622.91 per hand.

The number of better earners has increased
The median of current earnings is between three and four thousand zlotys. Such earnings are declared by every fifth examined person. The highest and lowest earnings

Most people earning more than seven thousand zlotys are studying in Wrocław (11.8 percent) and in the Tri -City (11.4 percent). The study also shows that students would like to earn twice as much as today. The average earnings currently desired are PLN 7,643.21 per month on hand. At the current stage of their careers, most students (17.5 percent) dream of earnings over PLN 12,000. Every fourth would like his salary between four and six thousand zlotys.
After a year of work, the average expected salary is PLN 9,082.72 per month, with more than PLN 12,000 every third student. After three years, the expected average is PLN 10,471.60 per month, and half of the respondents would like to get more than PLN 12,000. In 10 years, in 2035, the average salary is PLN 11,634.57 per month, and above PLN 12,000 they would like to earn nearly three -quarters of respondents.
The “Student at Work” study was conducted by the SW Research studio. The Career Program team calculated the average based on the answers obtained. In the study, students were asked to indicate the compartments in which their earnings contain. Each assignment was assigned an average value, e.g. if someone indicated that they earn between PLN 3001 and PLN 4,000, PLN 3,500 was accepted for calculations.
About the study
The study was conducted by an online interview method (CAWI). As part of it, 800 surveys were conducted with students from 13 Polish cities.
