The British king Karol III and Queen Kamila translated a visit to the Vatican planned for April 8 in connection with the recovery of Pope Francis – it was announced on Tuesday in an official announcement. It indicated that this decision is the result of a bilateral agreement.
In a statement issued by the Buckingham Palace, it was reported that the British royal couple translated an official visit to the Holy See, in accordance with the suggestions of doctors according to which the Pope would benefit from the prolonged recovery period.
The royal couple will visit Italy from 7 to 10 April. The travel program includes a visit to Rome and Rawenna. On April 8, they were to meet the Pope.
“Their heights send the Pope the best wishes for convalescence and they can't wait to visit him in the Holy See as soon as he recovers,” we read in the palace's statement.
