The National Prosecutor's Office has information that PiS MP Marcin Romanowski probably crossed the border and is staying in one of the European Union countries. An application for a European Arrest Warrant (EAW) against him was submitted to the court, the prosecutor's office said. Investigators also asked the national Interpol office to issue a red notice in the case of the former deputy minister of justice.

– This discredits Mr. Romanowski, the entire PiS and generally their narrative that he is innocent. If he was innocent, he would have appeared long ago (…), I assume he will be arrested soon – said Petru. He stated that Romanowski “is unlikely to cross the Schengen borders due to the fact that there is already an arrest warrant.”
– I wonder who's helping him. I have a suspicion that he may be hiding in some Opus Dei shelter in a country other than Poland, he added. He pointed out that in Poland Opus Dei issued a statement that Romanowski was not hiding in the centers of this organization.
Petru said that Romanowski “wouldn't have escaped on his own.” – Someone from PiS definitely helped him. Let me remind you that this is part of an already organized criminal group. He will be caught by the Polish services. It will start to fall, he continued.

Tomasz Trela said that “we are dealing with a man who has absolutely no moral backbone.”
– One says, the other does. Please pay attention to what his colleagues did. His colleagues published photos that he was allegedly in the hospital. He had been released from this hospital three days earlier (before the government's decision on the arrest – editor). They were intentionally misleading. And it is not known whether they did it at Romanowski's request or whether they wanted to protect him, he said.
According to the New Left politician, “it may be that now those in PiS are starting to be afraid of who Romanowski will piss off first.” – Because no one has any doubts that he was not the originator of the idea to give a priest one hundred million zlotys for a television studio (it is about the competition regarding the Profeto Foundation – ed.). – For the first time in history, we are dealing (with a situation – ed.) in which a current PiS parliamentarian, i.e. Kaczyński's man, is hiding like a common bandit, simply a thug – said Trela and added that “the services must track him down, they must bring him to justice.” to jail.”

– This is definitely an inappropriate action. When it comes to the issue of his resignation, his entire work must be assessed. I understand that it is currently in the hands of the Prime Minister and the chairman of the (New – ed.) Left. I am not in favor of dismissing for one such speech, Petru said. He added that Wieczorek “is certainly not the best minister of science.” – However, I would not like to pass judgments here, perhaps I have too little knowledge – he noted.
– I would like us to look at the minister through the prism of the entire year of operation (…). I believe, like Mr. Ryszard Petru, that there are different ways of disciplining and different ways of paying attention. But you have to evaluate the whole thing, said Tomasz Trela. He added that the decision on his possible resignation will be made on Thursday or Friday at the latest.
