At the moment, a typical process is taking place over the Arctic at the end of the cool part of the year. The polar vortex is weakening, the sun looks more and more at that region of the world. But at the same time, a huge portion of heat at an altitude of about 30 kilometers from the Pacific of Torching reaches the North Pole. This is important for meteorological conditions in our region of the globe.

This portion of heat, visible in the calculations of the American GFS model as a large red spot on the temperature field map in the northern hemisphere at a hemisphere of 30 km above the ground, will rebuild weather conditions in Europe. This rearranging over the North Pole will result in pushing cold into the North Atlantic and Europe region.

Visible on March 8, sliding down a portion of the cold into our region of the globe will affect in the coming days in a baric situation on the ground. It will favor – free but consistent – rafting of cold air masses to us.

Temperature fluctuations themselves, alternating inflams of air masses once from the south, once from the north, are of course completely normal in March. The scale of insulation at the beginning of spring is unusual. Hence, the descent of the cold forecasted after March 10 will be rather noticeable, but it will not bring a weather disaster that happens in January or February. It will certainly stop spring for a moment and freeze delicate plants in places.

Cold tongue calculated today by weather models can stay at least until March 17-18. The temperature at a height of 1.5 km over northern and eastern Poland is to oscillate around -10 degrees Celsius. This allows us to maintain the forecasts of the temperature drop at the ground at night dissolution to -10 degrees C. with garden work and revealing the land you still have to stop.
