The company of the former president of Ukraine stopped production in Budapest. Roshen gave the reason

Roshen withdrew from Budapest: Information about the cessation of production in the capital Hungarian confirmed the company's general director, Oleksandr Holovashchuk, in Forbes Ukraine. The Bonbonetti factory in Budapest became involved in this the second one abandoned by a Ukrainian brand with a branch in this country. Interestingly, the production of sweets has already been stopped there in April 2023.

Why was the branch closed? Holowaszczuk revealed that the official reason for the company's decision was economic difficulties and none production efficiency. Roshen continues its production today only in Ukraine (including in Vinnytsia and Krzemieniec) and in one factory in Klaipėda (Lithuania). The company also had a branch in Lipetsk, on Russian territory. However, it was closed in 2017 after Russia took it over.
