Pay rises in the Czech Republic: From January 1, 2025, the price of a one-day vignette will increase by CZK 10 and will cost 210 crowns (equivalent to PLN 35). A ten-day vignette will follow 290 crowns (the price will increase by CZK 20 to approximately PLN 49), drivers will pay for the monthly fee 460 crowns (more by 30 crowns, i.e. approx. PLN 78), and for an annual – 2,440 crowns (an increase of CZK 140 to approximately PLN 413). Motorway tolls will continue to be exempt electric or hydrogen-powered vehicles. Moreover, from 2025, the Czech Ministry of Transport is introducing a mechanism automatic indexation. This means that the price of vignettes will be related to the level of inflation and the length of the motorway network.
Important change for drivers: From mid-2025, users of Czech motorways will be able to use them on certain sections increase speed to 150 km per hourbut only in good weather conditions. However, when it appears fog or there will be rainfall rainthe permissible speed will be limited to 130 km/h.
Pay rises in Slovakia: From next year, the price of a one-day vignette for driving on motorways will increase from PLN 5.40 to 8.10 euros. There will be a monthly vignette after 17.10 eurosand the annual price will increase by 30 euro (down 90 euros). Drivers will pay less for a 10-day vignette, which will be cheaper from 12 days euro down 10.80 euros.
