The head of the US Coast Guard was canceled just after Donald Trump took power. Now Admiral Linda Fagan got three hours to move out of the apartment in Washington – informs NBC News.

Linda Fagan commanded the coastal guard since 2022. It is so -called Four -star Admiral – this is currently the highest rank in the American jacket (higher, i.e. the admiral of the fleet, no one has – ed.). Fagan was the first woman commanding one of the types of US armed forces. She was released from the position on the second day of the presidency Donald Trump.

Until now, Fagan lived in a service apartment in a joint base Anacostia Bolling in Washington. According to NBC News, citing two people familiar with the case, on Tuesday she was ordered to leave the house. And in three hours.

Coast Guard head evicted

As American media write, adm. Fagan initially received 60 days to find a new place. However, on Tuesday at 14 she was told that she was to leave the apartment in three hours and leave the door open so that officials could go inside and photograph it. According to the NBC source, officials of the National Security Department (DHS) were to provide the Coast Guard Commander Kevin Lunday that he was necessary because “the president wants her to leave the quarter.” It is not certain, however, whether such an order fell directly from Donald Trump.

The source reported that the woman finally left the house, but “many, and maybe all of her personal belongings remained inside.” One of the DHS officials, cited by the station, assessed that expulsion from home “makes sense”. “She was dismissed from work two weeks ago and continued to live in the Admiral quarter,” he said. He added that he could neither confirm or deny information about the three -hour date to leave the house.

Removal of adm. FEGAN from the position by Trump's administration was justified, among others “Inability to achieve the strategic goals of the American coast guard”, but officials anonymously informed the media that the reason was also “excessive” focusing on politicians regarding diversity, equality and inclusion (Dei).
