For Golec brothers holidays Christmas are very important. The highlanders from Beskid Żywiecki often emphasized their attachment to faith and family values in interviews. This year, however, the doyenne of the family will be missing at the Christmas table, Irena Golecwho died on October 30.
The Golec brothers take care of family traditions during the holidays
The Golec brothers are not only talented musicians. They also fulfill their roles as husbands and fathers. It's no wonder that they go to their hometowns together during the holiday season. – We always spend holidays in the mountains. Where the highlander Midnight Mass is, to which we invite everyone. Great atmosphere, great emotionsspent together with loved ones at the Christmas Eve table. These are always unforgettable holidays – they said a year ago in an interview with Polsat. The Golc family also tries to decorate their house, which must also be decorated with highlander motifs. – We make sure that they appear in our Christmas atmosphere – they added. Of course, one of the most important points of Christmas Eve is common caroling. – We can all play and sing, so there must be music and celebration. Everyone takes an instrument with them and it looks completely different. Above all we spend holidays with our loved ones, but then the bigger carol singing begins. We are joined by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins and uncles. We gather up to forty people – emphasized the members of Golec uOrkiestra.
The Golc family said goodbye to their beloved mother. These words move you to tears
However, this year's holidays in the Golec family will be different from all others. The brothers' beloved mother will be missing. Irena Golec died in October at the age of 85. The brothers also bid her a fond farewell on social media. “Goodbye, dear mother… We thank you for your love, for your effort and sacrifice, for every word you say and the faith you constantly gave us. Thank you for your beautiful smile, for the love of music you instilled in us and for all your prayers. Let your highlander voice echo through the heavenly halls! You will remain in our hearts forever. Rest in peace,” they wrote on their Instagram profile.
