The government introduces a ban on photographing critical infrastructure. It is not entirely known which objects will cover

The ban on photographing critical infrastructure, which has long been in the crosshairs of countries hostile to Poland, is an element of war that the army is led.

– In various types of detainees we find photo information about the location of our troops, about military units – says General Wiesław Kukuła, Chief of the General Staff of the Polish Army.

These are doubts that the Ombudsman presents. He talks about a fracture of the constitution. It's about the right to information. He explains that the Presidential Palace, the Chancellery of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland or any other building – by a political decision – could be banned from photographing.

– If someone accidentally records such a building, flying through a drone, or fixing somewhere else, recording a fragment of the building, then there is also an offense – indicates Piotr Zakrzewski.

– I do not think that such a ban was covered by the Presidential Palace – comments General Wiesław Kukuła.

The deputy head of national defense explains that not only buildings whose photos can be easily found on the Internet are in the interest of foreign services.

– Not only objects are photographed, but also people in these objects. It is a matter of their safety. We should not underestimate this – emphasizes Piotr Zalewski, deputy minister of national defense from Poland 2050 -three.

The military explain that the new law – as a rule – is to sensitize to threats. – It is not to serve as much penalization as it is intended to build an immunode culture culture and responsibility culture for our safety – indicates General Wiesław Kukuła.
