The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia warned on Thursday about the day of victory approaching in Russia. She estimated that Putin would want to create the impression that Russia is enjoying international support.

On May 9, he is celebrated in Russia as a victory day. This is one of the most important state holidays, commemorating the defeat by the countries of the anti -Hitler coalition, including the Soviet, Nazi relationship German in World War II. This year is the 80th anniversary of these events. A traditional military parade takes place that day on Czerwony Square in Moscow.
