IMWM warnings of the second degree – heat
Second-degree heat warnings apply to the following provinces:
- lubuskiewith the exception of the Strzelce-Drezdenko district;
- Lower Silesiapoviats: Zgorzelec, Lubań and Bolesławiec.
The maximum temperature during the day will be from 30 degrees Celsius to 32 degrees C. At night, the thermometers will show from 16 degrees C to 18 degrees C. The warnings will be valid from 12 pm on Saturday to 8 pm on Sunday.
IMWM threat forecast for Sunday
On Sunday, very high temperatures will occur in almost the entire country. Second-degree warnings will probably still be valid in the same places as the previous day. In addition, IMGW may issue first-degree warnings for the following provinces: West Pomeranian, Greater Poland, Lodz, Masovian, Podlaskie, Świętokrzyskie, Lublin, Opoleand also for some voivodeships: Lower Silesia and lubuskie (outside the counties covered by higher level warnings) and Silesian, Lesser Poland and Subcarpathian.
On Sunday, parts of the country may experience snowfall. storms. First degree alerts will likely be issued for the province. West Pomeranian.
IMWM threat forecast for Monday
On Monday, the heat will remain in the eastern part of Poland. First-degree warnings are expected in the following provinces: Podlasie and Lublin and in part Subcarpathian, Świętokrzyskie and Lesser Poland.
The beginning of the week may also bring violent phenomena. IMGW plans to issue the lowest level of storm warnings for the following provinces: Warmia-Masuria, Podlaskie, Masovian, Subcarpathian and eastern and southern counties of the voivodeship. Lesser Poland.
