National Electoral Commissionimplementing the decision of the Supreme Court, adopted the financial report of the PiS committee from the 2023 parliamentary elections – Sylwester Marciniak, head of the National Electoral Commission, announced at the conference. He said that four out of nine members of the National Electoral Commission voted for the adoption of such a resolution, three were against and two abstained.
In mid-December, the Chamber of Extraordinary Control and Public Affairs of the Supreme Court, whose activities are questioned, among others, by European tribunals, accepted PiS's complaint about the rejection of the report by the National Electoral Commission.

Berek on the “big question mark” after the resolution of the National Electoral Commission
The decision of the National Electoral Commission was commented on in the “Tak jest” program on TVN24 by the chairman of the Standing Committee of the Council of Ministers Maciej Berek.
– I think that what we are witnessing in these last hours is another element that probably causes such a Machiavellian, unpleasant smile in those who complicated, muddled, obstructed and concreted our legal system – he said. – This is what they wanted. It means to confuse it so much that nothing is known anymore – he said.
Berek noted that the content of the National Electoral Commission's resolution is a “big question mark” for him. He referred in particular to the sentence from this resolution, which says that “the National Electoral Commission does not determine that the IKNiSP SN (Chamber of Extraordinary Control and Public Affairs of the Supreme Court – ed.) is a court and does not determine the effectiveness of the judgment.”
– I see at least a huge question mark here, because if the National Electoral Commission implements the Supreme Court's ruling, it means that it recognizes that this ruling is valid – pointed out the chairman of the Standing Committee of the Council of Ministers.

He replied that there would be a discussion on this topic during Tuesday's government meeting, although – as he emphasized – the decision on this matter belongs to the minister, and not to the entire Council of Ministers.

– This path is very tempting to answer this question (about what the Minister of Finance will do – ed.) at this time, but I will not answer this question. This is the responsibility of Minister Domański. This is a matter of legal analysis that must be carried out on the basis of documents that the National Electoral Commission will send to him. This document has not been received, we do not know how it will be formulated – explained the chairman of the Standing Committee of the Council of Ministers.
The head of the National Electoral Commission, Sylwester Marciniak, when asked earlier by journalists about when the National Electoral Commission's decision on Monday would be forwarded to the Minister of Finance, replied that he hoped it would be on Tuesday.
