This matter was discussed in “Kropka nad i” on TVN24 by Tomasz Trela, MP of the New Left, member of the parliamentary investigative committee on Pegasus, and Urszula Pasławska from Trzecia Droga, vice-president of PSL.

– I'm not sorry, I have no sympathy. Exactly Polish People's Party it experienced the withdrawal of subsidies and major financial problems – recalled MP Pasławska.

– I think this law is immoral, because it is a very restrictive law, it has issued a moral verdict that confirms how much public money was used for political purposes. I hope that it will not end with this morality, because it is hard to doubt that the politicized Chamber of Extraordinary Control (and Public Affairs – ed.) of the Supreme Court will agree with the decision of the National Electoral Commission – continued the PSL MP.

Trela: It's a very good day for citizens

The deputy head of the Left club, Tomasz Trela, admitted: – It's a pity Law and Justice it did not look at democracy and standards, how they turbocharged election campaigns, when they took money from public institutions in wheelbarrows, financed their campaigns, made advertisements, promoted themselves on state property. It didn't bother them then.

The MP from the New Left said that “today is a very good day for citizens.” – When my friend and I (he was talking about Pasławska, who was sitting next to us – ed.) had a hundred banners each, the representative of Law and Justice had a thousand banners because he could simply afford it. And today true law and true justice triumphed, he added.

– I share the opinion of my patron (National Committee member Ryszard – ed.) Kalisz that the subsidy should not be paid from now on because the report has not been adopted – he continued.

– We warned (PiS – ed.) during the election campaign: “you make mistakes, you do wrong, you abuse power, you abuse your functions.” Then they all laughed in our faces because they thought they would win the elections (parliamentary – ed.) on October 15. And if they had won these elections, absolutely nothing would have changed today. They would continue to finance the election campaign from the state budget – said the TVN24 guest.

Trela: Jacek Sutryk has three options in this situation

The program's guests also commented on the matter the president of Wrocław, Jacek Sutryk, who was charged regarding providing a financial benefit to the former rector of Collegium Humanum for obtaining a diploma from this university, as well as using this illegally obtained document and extorting PLN 230,000. Sutryk returned to work after hearing the allegations.

– I think it is not the role of politicians to replace judges. However, our role is to expect this matter to be clarified in the context of diplomas – how could it happen that the Polish state allowed the operation of a para-scientific unit that de facto sold diplomas and qualifications – said Pasławska.

The MP added that in this situation, the Polish state must take responsibility and faces a choice. -Either lead to a process and a decision that these documents (diplomas of this university – ed.) are legally invalid today, or recognize them. Because such a state of suspension is unacceptable, she emphasized.

According to Trela, Jacek Sutryk can make three decisions in the current situation. – The first decision is that he continues to hold his position and assumes that since it is an accusation, not a verdict, he continues to perform his function, he can appeal to the inhabitants of Wrocław through a referendum or in another way, to ask them for their opinion, he said. – Or, until the matter is clarified, assign his duties to his vice presidents and continue to serve as an inactive president. I leave it to his conscience, I leave it to the inhabitants of Wrocław – he added.
