The Ukrainians hit the Russian flotilla in the Caspian Sea

The Ukrainian military struck a Russian flotilla in the Caspian Sea. At least two missile ships were probably hit, the media reported, citing Ukrainian intelligence sources. The attack was to be carried out using drones.

“According to sources, the kamikaze drone attack was carried out on the morning of November 6. The distance from the Ukrainian state border to the target is approximately 1,500 kilometers. (…) at least two objects were hit in the city of Kaspiysk, which is located in the Republic of Dagestan in the Russian Federation ” – reported the Interfax-Ukraine agency.

This most likely concerns the Tatarstan and Dagestan missile ships, as well as probable damage to small project 21631 missile ships.

Coastal troops, including marines, are stationed in the attacked base. According to sources, ships of the Caspian flotilla participated in missile attacks on Ukraineand the 177th Marine Regiment took part in battles in the Kherson and Zaporizhia Oblasts.
